Fitted Mens Pea Coat TheLees Men's Unbalance High Neck Slim Pea Coat
Alright I'll try to give this product a fair overview:
First
I'd like to say for the price, the material, construction and density
of the fabric seems very nice; quality-wise it is superior to what I
expected.
Now only if I could actually fit in it...
Ok so
background I am 6'1 and 195lbs, a slightly athletic build with a 44
jacket size and a 33 inch waist. The standard US XL peacoat is wonderful
in the shoulders/chest, but I'm always left with an unsightly bag of
excess fabric in the front of the jacket around the waist (if you've
found a jacket on amazon that solves this problem, do not hesitate to
message me a link to it, as alas I'm still looking). Anyway the fact
that this jacket claimed to be a tapered slim-fit of a traditional XL
seemed like great news, and I bought it.
Now in the jacket's
description they claim their XXL is "US XL = 6' 2"(188cm), 190
lbs(86kg)" and slimfit on the waist. Now the slimfit around the waist
was about right, as with a 33 inch waist it fit snug but was not
uncomfortable, and buttoning the buttons wasn't difficult at all. But
being "tall" and having many tall friends, I have no idea how a 6'2
person at 190lbs could be expected to fit in the shoulders/arm sockets
of this jacket. You'd have to have the world's narrowest shoulders or be
a thin tall female; there is simply no way a 6'2 man would fit in this
comfortably unless he was emaciated or actually a stick.
I repeat:
-If
you're 6'0-6'2 and have ever once entered a gym, played a sport or done
a pull-up, THIS WILL NOT FIT YOU in the arms/shoulders/back/chest.
-If
you are a 6'0-6'2 stick in the arms/shoulders/back/chest but you have a
little pudgy and a wider waist, THIS WILL NOT FIT YOU in the waist.
Got it?
